Carver Films: Adaptations with Nick Cave & Kurzel brothers tennis drama

Snowtown and Partisan producers Anna McLeish and Sarah Shaw have moved on from Warp Films Australia, which Anna founded six years ago with ’71 and This Is England producers Warp UK, turning their gaze and attention to Carver Films.

Hitting the ground running their slate that includes the Nick Cave adaptation The Death of Bunny Munro a UK-Australian co-production with acclaimed UK directing duo Jane Pollard and Iain Forsyth and producer James Wilson (Under the Skin, 20,000 Days on Earth); a dark drama Ivan Lendl Never Learnt to Volley directed by Jed Kurzel and an inked co-production deal with Matchbox Pictures (producers of Deadline Galllipoli and Devil’s Playground) to produce a series for television with Penny Chapman.

Recipients of the 2015 Greg Tepper Award for outstanding contribution to their craft Anna and Sarah are a highly credentialed and experienced force to be reckoned with and will share with host James Hewison their insights and ideas about finding and nurturing exceptional talent and stories for the screen.
